I bought this for a decking project where I had a few floor joists that had about an inch of rot on the tops so rather then rip them out I attached new lumber on both sides of them to strengthen them. Naturally your regular joist tape would not be wide enough to cover three boards but this stuff had no problem because it's so wide. The adhesive is good on this and after rolling over it a few times it stuck very firmly to the wood. Be careful not to let it stick to itself as you will have no chance of getting it unstuck. I would also recommend gloves because if you get this on your skin it's really hard to get off.So it's a great product and one I could not find locally so I'm glad it's available on this site.
