I used this to hold down an over the door vinyl 24 pocket shoe holder (door length size) that I use in my pantry to hold bottles and other dry food items. The holder would of course move back and forth when opening or closing the door as food containers are heavier than shoes. I put this tape on the back of the vinyl holder in 2 places along the sides and 3 places on the bottom. It worked great! Very strong hold and didn't have to use a lot for the desired result. I don't know how it will come off but it holds great.
