Does not have a film liner like the description says. It cannot be unrolled to be used without tearing it. Adhesive is poor, aluminum is stiff, and I see no indication this is genuine 3M.Though 433 foil tape is probably a good product, it is not really usable in the format being marketed. The foil is too thin to use in roll form without a backing paper. Foil adhesive is stronger than tensile strength of the foil and it tears easily. Could not get more than a few inches of foil off roll without tearing. Application required about 5" by 9' section of foil. Resulting project consisted of shreds of torn foil cobbled together. Poor investment of my time, money and effort. Shame on 3M mis-guided marketing and corporate greed.Not a real 3m product. Not dead soft al backing. Very hard to use. Couldnt use without tearing.I USED IT TO SECURED THERMAL WIRES TO THE SIDE OF A STAINLESS STILL BOWL I NEEDED TO WARM UP.IT DID NOT STICK AS I WANTED IT TOO.Worked very well to repair the "missing foam" issue on my 2003 Eurovan heater box flaps.Used it for car exhaust temperature shield repair. Doesn't stick well to cleaned aluminium surface and because of roughly cut edge it tears very quickly while unwrapping.
