TapeCase Aluminum Foil Tape-Converted from 3M 431, is a 3.1 mil industrial grade metal foil tape used for protective applications, thermal conducting, splicing foils and patching aircraft and truck trailer skins. This product may be used effectively as a maskant in electroplating applications since it will not contaminate the bath. Featuring an acrylic adhesive, this product offers a long durable service life for both indoor and outdoor usage.

Not an expensive purchase, but I'm frustrated at This tape. The tape ripped and split easily when pulling it off the roll, causing a lot of waste and multiple splices. Also, the edges would stretch when pulled from the roll, making them scallop when adhered. I only used about 1/4 of the roll and was so frustrated I threw the rest in the trash.
