This tape can be hard to find unless you are at a real climbing store...which are few and far between. It's so much stickier than even Metolius tape. If you are in doubt when buying this tape, look for the words *platinum*, and the black printing and illustration of a wrapped ankle on the inside of the roll. This tape is so sticky I leave it on my hands for several days when on a long crack climbing trip. I mean, I could take it off every day...but it's painful to remove...and why waste a good tape job? Tape is always better than commercial tape gloves. It's more precise while also being lower profile. I have huge XL sized hands, so I need to be as thin as possible for getting into red #1 sized cracks.
