3 weeks wear and my first time with tape extensions but I love them. I either braid or curl with medium/ large curling iron and they hold curl great! The pics I've posted with this review are today, but curled them 3 days ago and my hair still looks fabulous. They're soft and I did test it to be sure it was real, it is.My real hair is just past my shoulders, maybe 16 inches. I used 2 packs, an 18" and 20". I added just a few layers (not a licensed hair stylist but feel confident cutting hair) I love the color of the extensions and I did tint and add toner to my real hair before adding the extensions. I watched a video online and installation took me about 40 minutes. There were a couple pieces I didn't do a good job installing that ended up coming out after a bit. (my fault not lining the 2 sandwiches together well) I also think I got conditioner on the tapes so that may have caused it to come out also.I try to only wash near scalp, then apply a really good conditioner to the length. WEAR A HAIR SCARF OR BRAID FOR BEDTIME! This keeps the hair from becoming matted and keeps it looking beautiful. Be careful to brush lightly from ends first and hold the tape part firmly when brushing. Also, eventually I may just go to 18", it can be a little heavy and takes some getting used to at first but I'm loving having long hair again. They're beautiful! At first I was not satisfied with the hair, the seller messaged me and has been extremely helpful in helping replace the hair for free. She is talking it through with me every step of the way and even sending pictures to make sure it is up to my standards. Of course I cannot feel the new hair, as I haven’t received it yet, but I am certain it will be much better than the first one I got. I will update my review when I receive the new hair and install it. So far the seller has been a delight to work with and very gracious to me.* My only complaint is that I thought the platinum blonde would be less yellow-y. I tried to tone the bottom of the extensions with purple shampoo and it gave them a blue tint. I only put the shampoo on the hair for maybe a minute or less before rinsing it out and I guess they just take color really quickly? I later tried to put a little brown hair dye (without an ash base) on one of the extensions to see if it would look less blue and somehow it made it even more blue/purple lol. Just something good to know if you want to dye or tone the extensions! (The toner will wash out so it will be ok.)* Also, my natural hair is really short right now, a couple inches above my shoulders and I needed 3 packs (150g) to try to cover all my little pieces of hair that can stick out. When I had longer hair, I was able to get away with only 2 packs (100g). I do have thick straight hair for reference..* If you're thinking about getting hair extensions after a bad hair cut or just to try something new, I totally recommend it!! I would much rather spend $150 on extensions that could last 6 months or more with good care than to probably spend much more than that by trying to bleach and dye my natural hair by myself (and probably frying it and making it look worse.. like I've done many times before..) or professionally (it gets very expensive). If you can, I would recommend paying to have the extensions installed professionally or getting a close friend to help you out because it can be time consuming trying to do it yourself and there is a learning curve haha I've heard of people going 3 months with one install so I hope I have the same luck with this set! I will try to come back to update later.I was determined to put in my own extensions after my hair broke off from years of abusing it with bleach. I dyed my hair black, bought some black tape Ins and gave it a go. Perfection! The hair is thick from tape to tip, super soft and shiny. I went from a very short, almost pixie, layered mess to long, luxurious, layers in a matter of hours. Thank you Full Shine!Shout out to Brittnee Alexus on YouTube for her amazing diy installation and blending videos. You saved me girl!I spent the night putting these into my hair last night. The stickiness wasn't enough to keep them on my hair for longer than 30 seconds. I have read, using the same technique of putting the strands front to back on as few strands as possible to ensure that the tape adhered to each other. The difference was that it had you use a hot iron at no higher than 100° for a split second to ensure that the hair tape did adhere. Imagine my horror to realize that there were only enough hair strands to cover about 1/4 of my hair. I don't want to cut the hair, rip out my own, so I am going to put my hair up tomorrow and search for hair tape glue remover. With that being said, I do love the hair. I've always wanted to have my blonde hair streaked with brown highlights. This is gorgeous hair and is put together in a very professionally meticulous manner. However, it does look mostly blonde at the end. I wish I had more of the exact same color to finish this look. Today, I found myself wondering why anyone would need such a small amount of hair strands and couldn't think of one. I'm sure that there must be something I'm just not thinking about, such as to possibly thicken hair that is already long, but you would need to have the same color, so I'm just not sure.Great quality hair, absolutely beautiful look, just order at least 60 or 80 strands.I ordered 2 and upon receiving my package I noticed that the boxes where different and the undertones in the hair were different aswell (one was a new style) so I reached out to the company directly and it was the best customer service I have ever experienced, they truly exceeded all expectations and I had a second order of the tone I preferred asap! The hair is a wonderful quality and extremely soft, I have already used the tape for twice and it stuck just as good the second time as the first. 10/10I ordered 3 packs of this hair , one month ago its matting and feels like stay and now have to take it out and trow away . I actually went to put a review of the 20 inch brown but the company has disappeared in letting me do a review to a different order then this . I'm super upset as this Pic of product was great back in last fall so I re ordered 3 packs in 20 inch . I had hoped they where the same quality I once had . I'm also a professional hair dresser extension specialist, so I know how to maintain the hair. Like I said straw , can't brush one month and I have to take and throw them out :(Okay, so first application they looked amazing. After the first wash they became super frizzy. (Even using sulfate free shampoo and hair masks).By about the third day post wash they began to look a bit better. After doing several strand tests (flame test and testing with flat irons/curlers) it seems that these have a mix of remy hair and high quality synthetic hair. You can style it but I would recommend low temps. I'm not sure if every pack is like this or not.Overall for the price they are fine, however I don't think they are actually 100% Remy hair.So if you want something that is okay for the price you should be fine. I don't think I will order these again or that they will last more than one more reset given the weird quality. Not like the photo the blonde is actually with a green tint my neighbour was my other set of eyes and it’s small amount like on the ends only- very disappointingI love the quality and price of these hair extensions. I did have an issue with the tape, but with their great customer service we were able to resolve it.
