I think regular packing tape from the dollar store could do about as good? I mean, it’s not like Tyvek claims this tape is waterproof, so it’s not going to protect from holes in the vapor barrier. You have staples or tacks holding the vapor barrier on as well. I just think if you do a good enough job rolling on the Tyvek and have a good stapler, this stuff is really an irrelevant and unneeded add on. ?Tape is great.
